Darcy in Rosings
I heard my good friend had a safe trip to Rosings. He tells me that Lady Catherine is as delightful as ever, and the Collins have settled in nicely. What a coincidence that Elizabeth Bennet is there. I wonder how she will cooperate with Lady Catherine. I have no doubt that Elizabeth will quarrel with Lady Catherine.

I do wish I never saw your friend here at Rosings, I am sure you will ascertain why soon enough. I must tell you that your prediction of Lady Catherine and I is very true indeed; I do not like that woman one bit. Even you, so affable, amiable, and kind, would find her simply annoying and arrogant.
